Process Support Engineer II – Semiconductor Equipment

About the role

As a Process Support Engineer II you will guide semiconductor equipment through its full lifecycle, from concept to qualification, providing high‑visibility on‑site support and troubleshooting for complex systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site installations, system diagnoses, and service/repair of advanced semiconductor equipment.
• Collaborate with customers and R&D to develop cutting‑edge processes for chip manufacturing.
• Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE), analyse data statistically, and produce detailed reports.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, conduct root‑cause analyses, and resolve challenging process and product problems.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and customers to build trust and achieve project goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in the semiconductor fab or equipment industry.
• Proficiency in English communication.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Chemical Vapor Deposition, Atomic Layer Deposition, Plasma Reactive Ion Etch, Physical Vapor Deposition, Anneal and Implant technologies.
• Experience with hypothesis testing, design of experiments (DOE) and statistical data analysis.
• Strong root‑cause analysis and problem‑solving abilities.
