Project Leader - Clinical Research Services

About the role

IQVIA, formed by the merger of IMS Health and Quintiles, is a human data science company that helps healthcare clients turn healthcare data into insights and better patient solutions. It is hiring a Project Leader for its services business in Tokyo.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure overall project delivery and financial success
• Drive project quality and performance excellence
• Own the customer relationship for the project
• Develop the Integrated Project Management Plan and manage project performance (with PMA)
• Proactively manage project risks and contingencies, and project team resourcing

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field and 3 years' clinical research experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Understanding of clinical research regulatory requirements such as GCP and ICH guidelines
• Basic therapeutic and protocol knowledge
• Ability to work under limited direction and to deliver results to quality and timeline metrics

Required skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a good command of English
• Good problem-solving and teamwork skills, and excellent customer service skills
• Strong software and computer skills, including MS Office applications
• Ability to build effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
