Project Manager, COA/eCOA Translation Projects

About the role

ICON Language Services, part of the global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation ICON, is strengthening its services in Japan and is looking for a COA/eCOA Project Manager or Associate Project Manager. You will lead translation and localization projects for Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO) and Clinical Outcome Assessments (COA) in clinical trials, working with clients and global teams from initial requirements through to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage planning, execution and delivery of global and local COA/eCOA projects in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Drive local Japan projects with a fast turnaround
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in and outside Japan and liaise with local client representatives
• Develop project plans, budgets and schedules and monitor progress
• Select and assign translators and reviewers, check deliverables and coordinate delivery to clients

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, linguistics, project management or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Project Manager: 5+ years of COA/translation/localization project management experience; Associate Project Manager: 2+ years
• Business-level Japanese and English
• Experience with TMS and CAT tools, and a preference for COA/eCOA, clinical trials, medical devices or pharmaceuticals experience
