Senior Manager, Field Medical Affairs - Oncology

About the role

Regeneron, a biopharmaceutical company developing medicines for serious diseases, is looking for a Senior Manager, Field Medical Affairs - Oncology, Japan. This is a field-based position supporting the oncology portfolio, engaging in scientific exchange with therapeutic area experts to provide disease and product information and support research initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with medical and therapeutic area experts and investigator targets, and develop associated action plans
• Respond to requests for information on study indications, disease states and therapeutic areas, presenting scientific and clinical data in a compliant manner
• Educate practitioners, payers and researchers on disease management and therapeutic areas
• Attend medical conferences to gather and share scientific, clinical and competitive intelligence
• Support investigator-initiated studies by building scientific relationships with investigators and identifying research opportunities
• Work with Clinical Development, Clinical Operations and trial staff on site initiation, enrollment and execution of Medical Affairs strategies
• Develop and implement rules and procedures for Field Medical activities ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, guidelines, policies and industry standards

Required profile

• Healthcare or scientific professional (PhD, MD, PharmD) with oncology experience and/or clinical trial experience; a Master's degree with extensive oncology expertise may be considered
• Deep knowledge and significant experience in lung cancer/solid tumors or hematology oncology; immuno-oncology experience preferred
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry or clinical settings such as drug information, disease management programs or clinical pharmacy/medicine
• Fluency in Japanese and English
• Ability to travel 30-50%
• Experience in a matrix organization and collaboration with academic and clinical practice settings
