Technical Engagement Manager

About the role

KLA, a global leader in electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, is looking for a Technical Engagement Manager in Yokohama. The role defines and runs customer-specific product penetration, positioning and market-share strategies, and works closely with customers, marketing and service teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute customer-specific product penetration, positioning and market-share strategies.
• Build relationships with key customer technical buyers and understand leading-edge process and metrology technology.
• Work with the E-Beam divisional marketing and engineering teams to position and deliver differentiated product value and resolve customer issues.
• Collaborate with the business unit and service teams to run PSA objectives.
• Develop sales strategies with account managers and apply KLA sales processes such as Value/People and SPIN.
• Mentor and coach engineers and inspire and motivate team members.

Required profile

• Strong background in wafer process flow, inspection/metrology control and E-Beam technology.
• 5 years of IC/fab experience with KLA tool knowledge; E-Beam or metrology experience preferred; defect/inspection experience also considered.
• B.A./M.S. in an engineering or science-based field.
• Good Japanese and English interpersonal skills.
• Leadership, execution, business acumen, ability to work under stress and proactive accountability.
