Digital Marketing Manager – Social Media Lead

About the role

Fender Japan is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to lead its social media strategy. The role will shape and execute campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok and emerging platforms, driving brand awareness and fan engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Define and track social media goals, KPIs and benchmarks across all channels.
• Manage relationships with social media agencies and platform partners.
• Develop go‑to‑market plans for product launches, integrating creative assets and events.
• Create and maintain monthly content calendars in partnership with product, creative and artist teams.
• Oversee editorial review of scheduled posts for accuracy, tone and relevance.
• Produce weekly performance reports and adjust tactics to optimize growth and engagement.
• Lead influencer relations, UGC campaigns and community‑building initiatives.
• Serve as CRM manager for the Fender Flagship Tokyo, analyzing customer data to drive purchasing behavior.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven ability to develop integrated strategies aligned with brand objectives.
• Data‑driven mindset, comfortable using analytics tools to turn metrics into actionable insights.
• Strong project management skills and experience managing budgets, agencies and cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills, able to present strategy and results to senior leadership.
• Passion for music culture and deep understanding of Fender’s brand portfolio.
