Senior IT Specialist – Security, Projects & Operational Management

About the role

As a Senior IT Specialist within the Business Unit Digital Office, you will support the XC Japan group by coordinating information security, managing IT projects, integrating development systems, and providing operational assistance. You act as a bridge between technical suppliers, functional departments, and global governance structures.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate local systems with central security governance, manage on‑site security provider relationships, and monitor cloud environments for compliance gaps.
• Provide initial security guidance for new cloud solutions and track remediation of central security findings.
• Participate in central security meetings, translate regulatory updates into local awareness initiatives, newsletters, and training.
• Lead IT projects as customer‑side or supplier‑side manager, handling planning, budgeting, capacity allocation, and risk management.
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications for suppliers and communicate technical changes back to business units.
• Support the group manager with administrative and managerial tasks, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Required profile

• Senior‑level IT professional with proven experience in information security coordination and IT project management.
• Strong ability to work across cultures and organizational levels, acting as a liaison between technical and functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills to convey security requirements, project status, and regulatory updates.
