Principal Business Consultant – Commercial Content

About the role

Veeva’s Business Consulting practice is expanding and seeks a Principal Business Consultant to lead commercial content initiatives for life‑science companies across APAC. You will work closely with clients to diagnose business challenges, design operating models, and deliver end‑to‑end content solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build operating models for global‑to‑local content reuse and Veeva Multichannel Content.
• Conduct business assessments for new Vault implementations or consolidation programs.
• Design frameworks for content planning, digital asset management, and metadata governance.
• Prepare clients for FDA electronic submission requirements.
• Set strategic direction, define KPIs, and create analytics dashboards for the content supply chain.
• Develop and deliver communication and change‑management programs for PromoMats/MedComms rollouts.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in management consulting or an advertising agency.
• Background in commercialized product or brand domains within life sciences.
• Proven track record delivering client advisory engagements.
• Core consulting skills: workshop facilitation, client presentations, project and change management, structured problem‑solving.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities in English and Japanese.
• Willingness to travel approximately 60% and hold a valid Japanese work visa.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Required skills

• Experience with Veeva Vault (content management system).
