Commercial Strategy Consultant (Senior)

About the role

Veeva’s Japan Business Consulting Group is expanding its Commercial Strategy Consulting Team. You will help life‑science companies design and execute commercial strategies that drive sustainable value, working both on‑site with clients and virtually.

Key responsibilities

• Lead workstream(s) in project engagements, managing scope, quality, resources, risk and timelines.
• Design, build and deliver project deliverables that meet specific goals.
• Identify and proactively solve client problems, acting as the primary operational contact.
• Manage and mentor Associate Consultants, supporting their skill development.
• Contribute to business development, proposals and thought‑leadership initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with an excellent academic record.
• 3+ years of management consulting experience, preferably in life‑sciences commercial operations.
• Strong understanding of commercial strategy areas such as multi‑channel optimization, product launch, go‑to‑market, and analytics.
• Proven data‑science and analytical abilities, with quantitative and qualitative problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication in English and Japanese, and willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Valid working visa for Japan.
