Applied AI Architect – Partner Role

About the role

The Partner Applied AI Architect is a senior technical advisor who works with strategic partners to translate joint business priorities into AI solutions, guiding customers from discovery through production adoption and measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical advisor and long‑term relationship owner for a portfolio of strategic partners, building trusted relationships with their executives, AI leaders, architects, and delivery teams.
• Develop and own technical strategy and architecture for partner engagements involving ChatGPT Enterprise, OpenAI API, Codex, and other agentic AI solutions.
• Lead technical discovery, shape architectures, and provide guidance through demos, workshops, prototypes, and proofs of value.
• Assess partner capabilities, identify gaps, and design enablement plans to ensure high‑quality, secure, and responsible AI deployments.
• Orchestrate OpenAI specialists across deployment, security, product, and research to support partner delivery while maintaining clear ownership.

Required profile

• Significant experience in senior customer‑ or partner‑facing technical roles such as solutions architecture, partner engineering, field architecture, or technical consulting.
• Proven success working with global or regional system integrators, consulting firms, or technology partners and guiding complex enterprise organizations from evaluation to production.

Required skills

• Strong software and cloud architecture foundations, including APIs, distributed systems, enterprise data integration, identity, security, privacy, and governance.
• Deep understanding of modern AI systems, large language models, agentic applications, model evaluation, retrieval, and enterprise AI workflows.
• Hands‑on experience with APIs, SDKs, and programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
