About the role

Manulife is looking for a proactive, relationship-driven Campus Recruiter to lead early-career hiring across Japan. The role manages end-to-end campus recruitment programmes, builds partnerships with universities and internal stakeholders, and drives Manulife's presence at career forums and employer branding events to attract the next generation of talent. The working arrangement is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for graduate, internship and other early-career programmes
• Execute campus recruiting strategies and hiring plans aligned with business talent needs
• Partner with hiring managers, HR Business Partners and business leaders to guide recruitment and deliver hiring outcomes
• Build and maintain relationships with universities, career centres, student organisations and external partners
• Plan, coordinate and represent Manulife at university events, career fairs and major career forums
• Support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives
• Monitor recruiting metrics and report on hiring progress, pipeline health and programme effectiveness
• Identify improvements to recruitment processes, candidate experience and operational efficiency

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum 3 years of campus recruiting experience in a global or multinational organisation
• Proven experience managing graduate and internship hiring programmes
• Demonstrated success organising and taking part in university recruiting events, career fairs and large career forums
• Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English
• Preferred: experience in financial services, insurance, technology or other multinationals, and knowledge of Japan's university recruitment landscape
