Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

BJAK, the leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia, is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support hiring across multiple functions and regions as it scales globally. This is a hands-on recruitment role in a fast-paced environment, working closely with stakeholders on hiring outcomes. The position is hybrid, with at least three days per week in the local office.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned roles across functions and locations
• Partner with hiring managers on needs, candidate profiles and business priorities
• Sourcing and screening candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, job boards and direct outreach
• Build and maintain talent pipelines and conduct talent mapping and market research
• Coordinate interviews and keep accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Share hiring updates and pipeline insights, and support process improvement and employer branding

Required profile

• 2-5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, Executive Search, Staffing or a related field
• Proven ability to manage several vacancies at once in a fast-paced setting
• Experience recruiting across functions such as Operations, Finance, Marketing, Creative, HR, Product or Engineering
• Strong candidate assessment and interviewing skills; excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Fluency in English; Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Thai or Japanese is an advantage
• Experience in tech companies, startups, recruitment agencies or high-growth organisations is highly preferred
