Cloud & Hosting Engineer

About the role

The Systems Engineer will support Airbus Helicopters Japan’s Cloud and Hosting product lines, ensuring seamless delivery and continuous improvement of cloud and hosting solutions for end‑users across APAC.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable cloud and hosting infrastructure, including on‑prem servers, private/public clouds and extended enterprise technologies.
• Collaborate with architects to develop technical road‑maps and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Support the design, build and operation of datacenters using VMware/Hyper‑V, Active Directory, Storage, Backup, SCCM and Citrix/VDI.
• Manage availability, capacity and reporting for virtual/physical servers and storage across 11 countries.
• Work with the APAC CyberSecurity team to enforce security policies and protect system integrity.

Required skills

• On‑prem virtual server infrastructure platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Cloud architecture and migration of workloads.
• Backup infrastructure, high availability and disaster recovery.
• Data‑center operations and private/public cloud management.
• Vendor management and cloud monitoring tools (MS SCCM, VMware Management Console).
• Windows Server setup, SQL Server, print services and GPO configuration.
