Communications Activator

About the role

AIRoA, founded in December 2024, is a national project funded by NEDO to advance robotics and AI and promote their use in society. As Communications Activator, you will act as a hub connecting researchers and engineers with companies and students, and energize the organization from within by communicating its vision, activities and culture internally and externally. The role sits at the intersection of robotics and AI.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate, connect and amplify AIRoA's vision, activities and culture inside and outside the organization
• Act as a connector across divisions, people and stakeholders to activate communication across AIRoA
• First 1-2 years: join the Administration Division and rotate every quarter to half-year across functions to deepen understanding of the organization
• Afterward, move into a specialized area depending on interest, aptitude and organizational needs (examples: HR, general affairs, accounting, IT systems, corporate communications, business development, project management, brand/PR, event planning, development support)

Required profile

• Strong communication skills, able to understand others' perspectives and convey messages clearly
• Proactive and curious, willing to take on new challenges and learn independently
• Collaborative and team-oriented, able to work with people from diverse backgrounds
• Business-level Japanese and English; international experience is seen as a strong strength
