Data Reporting, Inventory Management and Operations Support

About the role

This position covers three areas: data reporting and analysis, inventory management and operation support. It works within the Japan DCC, analyzing operation data and generating reports for all programs, managing inventory with third parties to reduce stock loss risk, and supporting carrier-specific programs and export procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Data reporting and analysis: prepare and analyze data to give business insight into daily conditions, develop and run analyses and share outcomes with leaders and colleagues, create dashboards tracking KPI progress, drive standardization and automation of analysis and reporting, propose new analyses and data collection, and prepare and deliver documents and data.
• Inventory management: manage inventory for all Japan DCC programs processed in the device processing facility, ensuring third-party inventory control that supports a successful operation and reduces stock loss risk.
• Operation support: check inventory and arrange daily device transfers between local fulfillment centers, create repair orders in the OEM system, support carrier L&T programs (ordering materials, data analysis, monthly reports, communication with fulfillment centers), and manage export procedures for shipping devices to Assurant DCCs, including negotiation with 3PL, international couriers, customs and insurance companies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a business data analytics role.
• Ability to work independently and in teams, manage projects to deadlines in a changing environment, and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Japanese and English verbal and written communication.
• Experience managing export/import procedures, especially air freight.

Required skills

• MS Office, especially MS Excel.
• Preferred: experience using Oracle.
