Enterprise Account Executive – APAC (Tokyo)

About the role

Patch is building the platform that connects Fortune‑500 sustainability commitments to climate projects and commodities. As the first Enterprise Account Executive for APAC, you will own revenue targets while creating the market for environmental finance in Japan and the broader region.

Key responsibilities

• Build and own a qualified enterprise pipeline across APAC through disciplined prospecting, networking, referrals and events.
• Run multi‑threaded, consensus‑driven deals with large enterprises and Japanese trading houses, navigating sustainability, finance, procurement and legal stakeholders.
• Lead deep discovery to uncover strategic pressures and commitment gaps, positioning Patch as a trusted advisor.
• Partner with the APAC GM and internal teams (Supply, Climate, Marketing, Product, Engineering) to shape product and go‑to‑market strategy for the region.
• Represent Patch at marquee regional events, establishing brand recognition and feeding market insights back into the company.
• Operate in an AI‑native sales stack using Salesforce, Gong, Dust AI, Asana and Slack.

Required profile

• 5–10+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience with a consistent record of 100%+ quota attainment.
• Proven ability to close complex, multi‑stakeholder deals in APAC, especially with Japanese trading houses (sōgō shōsha).
• Domain knowledge of voluntary and compliance carbon markets and corporate climate claims.
• Track record as a 0‑to‑1 market builder, creating deal flow from scratch in emerging categories.
• Strong networker and problem‑solver who can earn trust from sustainability leads to CFOs.
