Heart Recovery Business Unit Lead Japan

About the role

The Heart Recovery Business Unit Lead Japan leads the strategic direction of the commercial team in Heart Recovery Japan, covering Clinical Sales, Surgical Sales and Education, and executes commercial activities. The role reports to the Heart Recovery President, Commercial, Asia Pacific, and works closely with global commercial leaders in the US, EMEA and APAC. It is a people leader position in multi-family MedTech sales with no commission.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales and education activities that support the strategic plan and business outcomes.
• Direct the Clinical Sales Director, Surgical Sales Director and Education Manager, and manage their budgets, performance and compliance.
• Collaborate with global commercial leaders to deliver business success and synergy.
• Uphold Abiomed's principles, operating procedures and Johnson & Johnson's Credo, and foster a purpose-driven culture aligned with patient, customer and employee needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial operations experience in healthcare or medical devices, focused on cardiology, heart recovery or related fields.
• Proven leadership experience across departments and demonstrated ability to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
• Business-level English proficiency.
