Manufacturing Manager – Mie-Rokuromi Plant

About the role

The Manufacturing Manager will lead equipment design, installation and self‑maintenance training at the Mie‑Rokuromi Plant. Reporting to the Site Manager, the role ensures safe, efficient production while meeting monthly sales targets and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Deputy Site Manager in the absence of the Site Manager and QA/Technical Manager, excluding strategic HR and budgeting decisions.
• Implement safety and environmental policies, conduct first‑aid training, and serve on the Emergency Response Team.
• Develop production plans based on sales forecasts and R&D needs, coordinate raw‑material procurement, and adjust schedules for equipment issues.
• Lead weekly production meetings, conduct site inspections, and oversee purchasing, inventory control, and inter‑plant material flow.
• Operate and supervise biological wastewater treatment facilities, collaborating with external partners and authorities to ensure compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in manufacturing or plant management, preferably in a chemical or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of safety, environmental regulations and emergency response procedures.
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage production schedules and drive continuous improvement.
• Experience working with external agencies on environmental compliance.
