Medical Affairs MSL (Infectious Diseases & Vaccines) (ワクチン領域)

About the role

The Medical Affairs MSL will build scientific relationships with Scientific Leaders (SL) and Key Decision Makers (KDM) in the infectious diseases and vaccines space, sharing insights gathered from field activities with internal stakeholders and executing individual plans aligned with the Medical Strategy and Field Engagement Plan.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct scientific exchanges with SL/KDM in compliance with FM‑SOP, Ministry of Health guidelines, and other regulations.
• Provide scientific information, MISP data, and other requested materials to SL/KDM.
• Develop and execute Individual Plans based on CMP/FEP.
• Collect insights on unmet medical needs and data gaps through scientific exchange.
• Gather and disseminate literature, conference data, and other disease‑area information.
• Maintain and update the SL list and share insights with relevant internal departments.
• Support advisory boards, medical education events, and other medical activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a pharmaceutical or academic setting.
• Strong foundational knowledge to understand scientific data and a keen interest in the therapeutic area.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, concise messages.
• High ethical standards, teamwork orientation, and strong communication skills.
• Preferred: background knowledge in vaccines or infectious disease epidemiology.
