Partner Account Manager – Systems Integrators (Japan)

About the role

Anthropic is looking for a Partner Account Manager to lead its partner ecosystem in Japan. You will build and scale strategic relationships with system integrators and resellers, driving adoption of Anthropic’s AI solutions across Japanese enterprises.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business plans with major System Integrators (e.g., NTT Data, Fujitsu, NEC, Hitachi) and key resellers to meet revenue targets.
• Maintain executive‑level relationships, navigate complex decision‑making structures, and conduct regular business reviews.
• Lead partner lifecycle activities from recruitment and enablement to joint go‑to‑market initiatives, including training, webinars, and events.
• Negotiate partnership agreements, technical integration terms, resale contracts and revenue‑sharing models.
• Identify, qualify and close enterprise opportunities in verticals such as manufacturing, finance, retail and telecommunications.
• Track pipeline, forecast revenue and report partnership performance metrics.
• Design and deliver enablement programs, technical training and certification for partners.
• Collaborate with global product and engineering teams to ensure Japanese partner feedback influences the product roadmap.

Required profile

• Proven experience in channel management, strategic alliances or business development within the Japanese technology market.
• Track record of managing relationships with Japanese System Integrators or technology resellers.
• Deep understanding of Japanese enterprise sales cycles, decision‑making processes and business etiquette.
• Native or business‑level proficiency in Japanese and English.
• Strong knowledge of the Japanese IT landscape, cloud adoption trends and regulatory environment.
• 7+ years of relevant experience, preferably with enterprise software, cloud services or AI/ML technologies.
• Excellent analytical abilities for business planning, forecasting and performance measurement.
