About the role
Professional Services provides storage system design and deployment for customers. The engineer works directly with clients and collaborates with sales and presales teams to design and build storage systems and related equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement infrastructure solutions using both DDN and third‑party products.
- Support implementation projects that involve DDN products sold through partners.
- Deploy file servers, file systems and middleware as part of storage solutions.
- Collaborate with sales and presales teams to tailor solutions to client requirements.
- Work on HPCI shared storage for national universities and high‑performance storage for telecom and pharmaceutical companies.
- Deliver large‑scale system projects valued at up to 1 billion yen serving thousands of users.
Required profile
- Experience building Linux systems.
- Experience building high‑availability (HA) clusters.
- Experience building file servers (NAS).
- Experience building tape‑based storage solutions.
- Experience with Lustre or GPFS file systems.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast‑paced startup environment.
