Regional Alliance Manager (Japan)

About the role

Optro is expanding its market share in the Asia‑Pacific and Japan region and seeks a Regional Alliance Manager to lead strategic alliance partnerships across Japan, including the Big 4, advisory firms, resellers and distributors.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary regional point of contact for alliances, shaping strategy with Global Alliance Directors and reporting to the Head of Alliances.
• Achieve quarterly and annual pipeline and revenue targets by driving partner‑included Optro technology in client projects.
• Recruit, onboard, and enable new and existing partners to build a robust ecosystem.
• Align Optro growth initiatives with partners’ business strategies and regional goals.
• Broker relationships between Optro sales teams and partner sales, marketing, and practitioner groups.
• Collaborate with Regional Account Executives on joint account mapping, QBRs and pipeline forecasting.
• Plan and execute marketing activities, webcasts and roadshows to raise brand awareness in Japan.
• Coordinate internal operational needs such as language support and customer service for a positive client experience.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of sales or channel management experience, preferably with the Big 4, global system integrators, resellers or managed service providers.
• Proven track record of building partner ecosystems and go‑to‑market strategies in fast‑scaling environments.
• Strong networking, business development and influencing abilities across functional groups.
• Comfortable working in a matrix organization, handling ambiguity and taking calculated risks.
• Native Japanese language proficiency and business‑level English communication skills.

• Experience in partner lifecycle management, recruitment, onboarding and enablement.
• Ability to develop joint marketing and sales initiatives.
