Regional Manager – North Asia (Tokyo)

About the role

The Regional Manager for the North Asia Regional Management Office will shape Agoda’s strategic direction across the region, leading mission‑critical projects and partnering with senior leaders in product, supply, marketing and finance to achieve key business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic planning: design and implement long‑term strategies that drive sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
• Performance management: define and track KPIs to measure impact of initiatives and ensure accountability.
• Program execution: lead end‑to‑end delivery of strategic programs, aligning with business goals and ensuring timely execution.
• Stakeholder engagement: build trusted relationships with senior leaders across product, supply, marketing and finance to advance shared objectives.
• Market and competitive analysis: conduct rigorous research and benchmarking to identify emerging trends and inform priorities.
• Data‑driven insights: leverage advanced analytics to evaluate performance and guide decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field; MBA strongly preferred.
• Experience in strategy, management consulting or a related discipline with a proven record of leading complex, high‑impact initiatives.
• Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, able to turn complex data into actionable insights.
• Demonstrated leadership of cross‑functional teams in fast‑paced environments.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong strategic and creative problem‑solving capabilities.
• Advanced project‑management skills, managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
• Proven stakeholder‑management experience with internal and external partners.
