Tokyo Office Administrator

About the role

Canonical, the company behind Ubuntu, is hiring a Tokyo Office Administrator with excellent English to help ensure the success of its Tokyo office. You will join the global business services team, supporting business services, travel, logistics, events, expense management and administration.

Key responsibilities

• Create a professional, positive and welcoming environment for colleagues and guests.
• Proactively manage front‑of‑house, meeting rooms and desk space.
• Handle clerical, administrative and logistical tasks such as ordering supplies, office equipment and processing invoices.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate across teams throughout the company.

Required profile

• Excellent academics.
• Excellent spoken and written English skills.

• Ability to travel up to twice a year for company events lasting up to two weeks.
• Ability to grasp existing technical systems and suggest improvements.
