Sales Development Representative, Japan

About the role

Axis Communications, a Swedish multinational technology company, is looking for an experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support growth across APAC. Based in Tokyo, you will work closely with Inside Sales Account Executives and sales and marketing teams, reporting to the Senior Manager, Demand Generation Operations, APAC.

Key responsibilities

• Lead generation: qualify inbound leads and run outbound sales campaigns to drive new business.
• CRM management: maintain Salesforce data integrity, verify new partners and validate account and contact data.
• Partner activation: activate dormant partner accounts and verify newly registered partners in the leads portal.
• Market analysis: analyse sales data to identify trends and generate quality leads for Account Executives.
• Marketing collaboration: drive LMS activities and represent Axis at B2B marketing events and AEC visits.

Required profile

• At least 5 years in Sales Development, Inside Sales or Business Development.
• Currently based in Tokyo, Japan, with a strong track record in the local market.
• Proven success prospecting, booking high-volume meetings and exceeding sales quotas.
• Strong Japanese and English, and a solid understanding of sales methodologies.
• Data-driven, self-starter who thrives independently and fast-paced, with ambition to grow into a Full-Cycle Sales or Closing role.
