Senior Consultant – AVEVA Unified Engineering (Japan)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to lead the implementation of AVEVA Unified Engineering for EPC and owner‑operator customers in Japan. The role combines hands‑on engineering software configuration with customer‑focused consulting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical implementation of AVEVA Unified Engineering solutions.
• Configure and customize UE modules to match client engineering workflows.
• Integrate UE with AVEVA tools such as P&ID, E3D, Engineering, Instrumentation and third‑party systems via APIs.
• Develop scripts and extensions using C#.NET, SQL or REST APIs.
• Collaborate with client engineering teams to define data models, templates and workflows.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, requirement definitions and training materials.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions and provide post‑deployment support.
• Work with global AVEVA development and support teams to resolve complex issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience with AVEVA Unified Engineering or similar integrated engineering platforms.
• Strong background in engineering data modeling and multi‑discipline integration (process, piping, electrical, instrumentation).
• Experience with AVEVA Engineering, P&ID, E3D or comparable tools.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel for project delivery.
