Solutions Architect – Financial Services

About the role

As a Solutions Architect for Financial Services at Chainalysis, you will act as an embedded technical advisor to banks and other financial institutions. You will guide customers from discovery through design, deployment and long‑term enablement of Chainalysis solutions, ensuring they can operate independently.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end engagements with banks, from investigative discovery to solution design, deployment and ongoing value delivery.
• Design, build and maintain custom workflows, notebooks, dashboards, queries and data models using Chainalysis data.
• Deliver live training, demonstrations and technical briefings to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Support pre‑sales technical engagements for complex financial‑services opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Global Intelligence and Sales to influence roadmap based on customer feedback.

Required profile

• Professional experience working directly with banks or financial‑services organizations.
• Fluency in spoken and written Japanese.
• Hands‑on experience with cryptocurrency investigations, blockchain intelligence, AML, compliance or fraud analysis.
• Strong understanding of how banks manage financial crime, risk and regulatory compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and solution development.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets and data modelling.
• Experience building notebooks, dashboards and analytical workflows.
• Ability to quickly master Chainalysis data structures, schemas and products.
