Medical Representative – Japan (Kansai Area)

About the role

Celltrion Healthcare, part of the Celltrion Group, which supplies biosimilar and innovative biopharmaceutical medicines to about 110 countries, is recruiting a full-time medical representative for its Japan business. The post is based in the Kansai area, though transfers across Japan may occur due to personnel changes. It is a mid-career recruitment.

Key responsibilities

• Open new accounts and expand market share for the company's products in the assigned area
• Promote cooperation with dealers and partners to meet sales targets
• Develop key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the area and build a ripple effect
• Plan and run events accurately to support sales goals (job changes may occur due to business needs)

Required profile

• More than 3 years of sales experience at a pharmaceutical company
• MR certification
• University degree or higher
• Ordinary driver's licence
• English conversation is preferred

What we offer

• Annual income of 5 to 6 million yen depending on experience, including a sales allowance, plus a separate business daily allowance of 2,000 yen
• Full-time position with a 6-month trial period, 9:00 to 18:00 working hours
• Two-day work week, year-end and New Year holidays, summer vacation and 125 days of paid leave per year
• Annual review with promotion and salary increase possibilities
• Social insurance, health check allowance and language support allowance of 10,000 yen per month
• Retirement age 60, with reemployment available until 65
