Partner Account Manager

About the role

Anthropic is seeking a Partner Account Manager for Japan to lead the development and scaling of strategic partnerships with System Integrators and resellers. You will work at the intersection of cutting‑edge AI technology and Japan’s enterprise market, helping partners integrate Anthropic solutions into their portfolios and joint go‑to‑market strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business plans with System Integrators (e.g., NTT Data, Fujitsu, NEC, Hitachi) and key resellers to achieve mutual growth and revenue targets.
• Build and maintain executive‑level relationships within Japanese partner organizations, navigating complex decision‑making structures.
• Own the full partner lifecycle, including engagement, strategic alignment, regular business reviews, and quarterly business reviews.
• Plan and deliver partner‑focused activities such as training sessions, webinars, email campaigns, and joint events.
• Negotiate partnership agreements, technical integration terms, resale contracts, and revenue‑sharing models.
• Identify, qualify, and close enterprise opportunities across verticals such as manufacturing, financial services, retail, telecommunications, and life sciences.
• Drive new customer acquisition and upsell revenue through reseller and distributor relationships.

Required profile

• Strong business creation skills to identify joint value propositions and co‑selling models.
• Experience managing strategic partner relationships and executing joint sales initiatives.
• Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and make data‑driven decisions in ambiguous situations.
• Track record of achieving revenue targets and scaling partner ecosystems.
