Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer - Video Security & Access Control

About the role

Motorola Solutions is hiring a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer for its Video Security and Access Control portfolio. The role works directly with the Sales Division to drive growth and technical success, covering solution architecture, technical consulting, product evaluations and customer-facing technical presentations across local and international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, design and present tailored video security and access control solutions to enterprise clients
• Act as technical subject matter expert during sales engagements, including product evaluations, technical demonstrations, training sessions and client presentations
• Maintain deep product knowledge across Motorola Solutions security lines to support sales reps and external stakeholders
• Perform site surveys and technical audits, and provide on-site engineering support for tradeshows and industry events
• Build and maintain technical relationships with client accounts, channel partners and key industry contacts
• Troubleshoot complex system integration issues to ensure successful presales verification

Required profile

• Demonstrated pre-sales solution engineering experience in a corporate technology organization
• Good market knowledge of electronic access control and video surveillance systems
• Advanced knowledge of network engineering principles, communications protocols and infrastructure
• Proficiency in physical security systems design, implementation, maintenance and enterprise hardware configuration
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Native English fluency, with strong written, verbal and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and to communicate across cultures and with all levels of the organization
• Preferred: university degree or technical diploma in a technical field, 3-5 years of pre-sales experience, and industry certifications in enterprise security, on-premise and cloud-hosted video/access control solutions
