About the role

Datadog is hiring a Recruiter II for its business recruiting team in Tokyo. As the first point of contact for new candidates, you will find the best talent, tell the Datadog story and turn great candidates into great employees. The company operates as a hybrid workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Find qualified talent for open roles through sourcing, job posts, referrals and agencies
• Screen candidates so their qualifications match the open roles
• Collaborate with leadership to design or streamline interview processes
• Follow up and close all interviewed candidates
• Negotiate compensation with qualified candidates
• Train interview teams and improve the recruitment process
• Use Greenhouse to track candidate progress through the funnel, resurface existing talent and keep clean data for reporting
• Make sure every candidate has an excellent interview experience, regardless of the outcome

Required profile

• Full-lifecycle recruiting experience, 2-5 years in-house or in a staffing agency
• Sourcing expertise in finding top talent
• Ability to work autonomously on several positions at once
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
• Able to work with a sense of urgency and adapt to changing processes
