Sales Development Representative

About the role

Moody's is seeking a Sales Development Representative to generate and qualify sales opportunities across the region. The role focuses on outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow‑up, and collaboration with sales teams to build a strong pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and qualify sales opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow‑up.
• Partner with sales teams to identify priority focus areas and develop targeted pipeline plans.
• Execute cold‑calling campaigns, nurture warm leads, and identify qualified opportunities.
• Conduct market and account research to identify target personas and gather contact information.
• Qualify opportunities based on business needs and buying potential, then collaborate with sales teams to advance them.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across sales, marketing, and business functions to achieve shared objectives.

Required profile

• Strong lead generation and sales development skills, including cold calling, emailing, prospecting, and lead nurturing.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities with diverse customer personas.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a desire to exceed goals and earn commission‑based incentives.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail, prioritization, and ability to manage multiple activities.
• Proficiency in English; additional regional language preferred.

Required skills

• Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) software to track activities and measure results.
• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and interest in AI tools.
