Security Specialist - Identity & Migration

About the role

Beyondsoft, a mid-sized business IT and consulting company with offices across four continents, is looking for a Security Specialist in Tokyo. You will work closely with the Security team to design, migrate and deliver identity projects for customers in Japan, focusing on modernization engagements from on-premises Active Directory to Microsoft Entra, including VBD, migration support, troubleshooting and partner-led delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID solutions for customers in Japan
• Lead AD/Entra migration and Hybrid Identity projects, including Entra Connect, Entra Join and Conditional Access
• Conduct discovery, assessment, solution design, migration planning and technical reviews
• Deliver customer workshops, gather requirements and give technical recommendations
• Troubleshoot complex identity, authentication and synchronization issues
• Work with Security teams, CSS, partners and customers to deliver projects
• Manage multiple engagements independently with strong technical documentation and customer communication

Required profile

• 3+ years designing, operating and supporting Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
• Experience as primary owner of AD/Entra ID projects
• Experience designing, implementing and operating Hybrid Identity
• Experience communicating directly with customers, defining requirements, running design reviews and workshops
• Preferred: ability to discuss technical matters with customers in Japanese and experience collaborating with Microsoft CSS
