Senior Site Management Associate

About the role

ICON, a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation, is hiring a Senior Site Management Associate in Tokyo. You will lead site management activities at clinical trial sites, ensuring quality, progress and compliance, working with site staff and internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site management and monitor trial progress so sites follow protocols, regulations and timelines
• Collaborate with site staff and cross-functional teams to solve problems and ensure timely data collection and reporting
• Support site initiation, monitoring and close-out visits
• Mentor junior site management staff and contribute to process improvement
• Prepare and maintain site management documents such as site reports and performance updates

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, clinical research or a related field
• Extensive experience in site management, clinical operations or monitoring
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial processes, GCP and regulatory requirements
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time
• Legal right to work in Japan

Required skills

• Hands-on experience in clinical development roles such as CRA, Site Management or Clinical Operations
• Good communication and organisational skills, able to manage several sites and timelines
• Comfortable working in English and travelling
