Associate Consultant – Cloud Solutions for Life Sciences

About the role

Veeva Systems is looking for an Associate Consultant to support its rapidly growing life‑sciences business in Japan. You will join a dynamic consulting team that implements innovative cloud solutions for life‑science customers, helping them accelerate therapy delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior consultants and project managers as part of a project team.
• Learn technical consulting, solution design, industry business processes and project‑management skills.
• Participate in business‑process discovery workshops and capture client requirements.
• Translate complex client and solution concepts into clear presentations for varied audiences.
• Configure Veeva products under the guidance of solution architects to match customer needs.
• Assist in building, testing, training, and deploying solutions.
• Create documentation of system requirements and design to ensure successful implementations.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise on Veeva applications and technical design.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance or 1‑2 years of relevant professional experience (equivalent skills accepted).
• Native or fluent Japanese and proficient English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Critical thinker with a passion for technology and problem‑solving.
• Legally authorized to work in Japan.

Required skills

• Proficiency with G Suite, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Visio and Lucidchart.
• Programming experience (any language).
• Knowledge of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
• Familiarity with document‑management systems.
