Senior Consultant – Safety

About the role

Veeva Systems is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead safety‑focused implementations of its Vault Development Cloud for life‑science customers in Japan. The role combines consulting, configuration, and project delivery to help clients manage safety data and content efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Lead life science customers in rapid configuration and implementation of Veeva’s Vault Development Cloud for safety data and content management.
• Manage implementation tasks including workshops, requirements gathering, configuration, validation, migration, integration, training and go‑live activities.
• Collaborate with project managers, product, strategy, sales and other internal teams to ensure successful delivery and adoption.

Required profile

• Experience in the life sciences sector with knowledge of document and data collection/storage.
• Proven track record leading high‑impact system implementations and managing diverse stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and Japanese, based in Tokyo, and able to travel domestically and internationally.

Required skills

• Implementation, configuration and validation of Veeva Vault Development Cloud.
• Experience with related systems such as Oracle Siebel, goBalto, BioClinica CTMS, Medidata Rave CTMS, Parexel IMPACT, PhlexEView, WingSpan eTMF, NextDocs, Documentum, SharePoint, and other life‑science technologies.
• Knowledge of SaaS/Cloud solutions and systems validation.
