Restaurant & Bar Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant & Bar Manager to lead one of our venues at the Happo One resort in Hakuba Valley. The role combines strategic management with hands‑on service across dining, bar and coffee programs, ensuring operational excellence and memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all food and beverage operations, coordinating with kitchen staff to maintain high standards of quality, presentation and timely service.
• Develop and manage the beverage and coffee programs, including menu creation, staff training and equipment maintenance.
• Handle inventory ordering, stock control and cost management for front‑of‑house supplies.
• Create staff schedules, supervise front‑of‑house team, and ensure payroll accuracy.
• Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards and conduct regular equipment inspections.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a restaurant manager.
• Legal right to live and work in Japan (visa support offered for the right candidates).
• Fluency in English and Japanese.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Driving licence and International Driving Permit.
