Concierge – Seasonal Winter Position

About the role

The Concierge is responsible for providing a warm, professional, and efficient service to all guests throughout their stay. Working closely with the Front Office and other hotel departments, the Concierge ensures seamless assistance with luggage, ski equipment, transportation, local information, and general enquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Guest Services – welcome guests, respond to enquiries, provide local recommendations and anticipate needs.
• Luggage Services – deliver and collect luggage promptly, maintain secure storage and accurate identification.
• Ski Valet & Equipment Services – manage storage, delivery and collection of ski and snowboard equipment, liaise with rental companies and keep the valet area organized.
• Front Office Support – assist reception during busy periods, support check‑in/check‑out operations and communicate guest requests.
• Hotel Operations – coordinate with housekeeping, F&B and other departments, arrange transportation, and uphold hotel policies and safety standards.

Required profile

• Legal right to live and work in Japan, typically via a Working Holiday Visa.
• Previous hospitality or guest‑service experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Basic computer skills; experience with hotel management systems is a plus.
• Physical ability to handle luggage and ski equipment, and flexibility for overnight, weekend and holiday shifts.
