DDP Manager III – Customer Engineer

About the role

The DDP Manager III, Customer Engineer leads the customer engineering team in the Hiroshima district, building strong client relationships and ensuring successful system installations and support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with all customers in the district, conducting regular visits.
• Manage, coach, and direct customer engineers, handling salary and career planning, performance appraisals, and corrective actions.
• Serve as the primary interface with product divisions for tech support, training, spares, and reliability.
• Oversee account planning with the District Sales Engineer and provide financial forecasts and cost‑efficiency measures.
• Plan and execute system installations, including pre‑facility and start‑up meetings, and manage the RMA procedure.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams and driving performance.
• Strong business acumen with ability to forecast financial results and improve cost efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting technical information and gaining cooperation.
