Finance & Strategy Deal Desk Lead – APAC

About the role

Join Anthropic’s Finance & Strategy Deal Desk team in APAC, where you will help scale revenue by managing complex enterprise deals and building standardized processes. You will work at the intersection of finance, sales, legal, and compliance to ensure rapid growth while maintaining rigorous financial discipline. This role offers the chance to design scalable workflows from the ground up and influence strategic customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct growth, margin, discount impact, and profitability analyses to support data‑driven decisions.
• Collaborate with sales to structure deals that meet customer needs while protecting Anthropic’s financial interests.
• Review and approve enterprise deals that exceed standard parameters, focusing on pricing, contract terms, and financial implications.
• Serve as the primary liaison among sales, finance, legal, and compliance throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Assess risks in non‑standard deal terms and escalate to senior stakeholders as needed.
• Develop and maintain deal approval policies, pricing guidelines, and exception handling procedures.
• Create and refine approval workflows, escalation procedures, and standardized templates for efficient processing.
• Maintain comprehensive deal documentation and provide regular reporting on deal strategy metrics and trends.

Required profile

• Experience in deal strategy, deal desk, finance, sales strategy, or related analytical roles, preferably in a high‑growth technology environment.
• Proven ability to build sophisticated financial models and conduct pricing optimization.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills across multiple departments.
• Detail‑oriented with strong instincts for process improvement and scalable workflow design.
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments while maintaining accuracy.
• Collaborative mindset and enjoyment of solving complex problems through cross‑functional partnership.
