Financial Analysis – Finance Business Partner

About the role

Join the AGS Finance Center of Excellence in Japan to turn financial data into actionable decisions. You will partner with business leaders, ensure accurate month‑end close, and help shape smarter finance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver reliable monthly and quarterly close, reporting, and reconciliations on time.
• Analyze performance trends, risks and opportunities, and communicate clear recommendations in Japanese and English.
• Identify emerging financial signals, anticipate stakeholder questions, and propose proactive actions.
• Drive process improvements, automation, dashboards and AI‑enabled analysis.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of accounting, financial analysis or related finance experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into business implications.
• Professional Japanese communication skills and confidence to collaborate in English.
• Continuous‑learning attitude and willingness to work in a global, cross‑functional environment.

Required skills

• Solid foundation in accounting and finance principles.
• Experience or willingness to learn SAP, CRM, BPC, dashboards and data‑visualisation tools.
• Familiarity with automation and responsible use of AI in finance processes.
