Head of Consultant Relations & RFP

About the role

Invesco is seeking a senior leader to head Consultant Relations and oversee the RFP function in Japan. The role combines business development with strategic RFP governance, reporting to senior management and collaborating across global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and deepen multi‑layered relationships with Japanese investment consulting firms to grow fund‑wrap business.
• Articulate Invesco’s investment capabilities and competitive advantages to consultants.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align business strategy and secure high consultant ratings.
• Lead the RFP team, establishing efficient processes, governance and global collaboration.
• Provide strategic oversight and backup support for RFP preparation without handling routine drafting.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of asset‑management experience, including consultant relations, institutional sales or investment consulting.
• Deep knowledge of the Japanese investment consulting landscape and decision‑making processes.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, Master’s in Finance/Economics) preferred.
• Proven people‑management experience with a focus on coaching and performance development.
