Hotel Manager – Hakuba

About the role

As a Hotel Manager for Hakuba Hospitality Group, you will lead the day‑to‑day operations of one of our boutique hotels in the Hakuba Valley. You will ensure exceptional guest experiences, maintain high service standards, and drive the hotel’s overall performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across front office, housekeeping, and food & beverage departments.
• Recruit, train, and supervise hotel staff, fostering a positive work environment.
• Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to meet profitability targets.
• Implement and uphold quality standards for service, cleanliness, and overall guest experience.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional strategies to boost occupancy.

Required profile

• Legal right to live and work in Japan.
• Previous experience in hotel management or a similar role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English.
• Proficiency with hotel management software and systems.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
