About the role

SpaceXAI is building its partner ecosystem across APJ and needs a dedicated leader to launch and grow the partner business in Japan. As the in‑market partner builder you will own the end‑to‑end partner strategy, set up co‑sell motions and drive revenue through technology and transformation partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the market partner strategy from greenfield to operational, recruiting and onboarding local technology and services partners.
• Accelerate global partners into Japan, incubate them to productivity and build forward‑deployed engineer (FDE) capacity.
• Design and run co‑sell motions, partner QBRs, reporting, tiering and onboarding flows to create a repeatable operating system.
• Translate Regional Vice President’s go‑to‑market priorities into partner‑led pipeline and closed co‑sell revenue.
• Develop data‑driven forecasts, track performance and provide the RVP with clear, actionable insights.
• Navigate partner economics, channel conflict, localisation and contracting to deliver working outcomes.

Required profile

• Fluent in Japanese with deep knowledge of the local technology and services partner ecosystem, especially SIs/GSIs.
• Professional proficiency in English to engage with headquarters and present plans to English‑speaking stakeholders.
• Proven builder‑operator who can own a greenfield business, recruit partners and scale technology or consulting partnerships.
• Experience designing partner business plans, enablement programs and co‑sell economics, and taking accountability for results.
• Data‑driven decision maker comfortable establishing reporting and operating cadence.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with partner principals and ability to navigate negotiations and channel conflicts.
