National Training Manager – Seasonal (Niseko)

About the role

The National Training Manager leads the national training framework for Rhythm Rides, creating clear pathways, competencies and development plans that support business needs, product quality and staff progression across Japan’s ski resorts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop annual and seasonal training priorities in partnership with senior leadership, location and department managers.
• Create and maintain national training pathways, competency frameworks and assessment structures for rides staff.
• Own the Guide Training Pathway system, ensuring transparent progression and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with managers and technical specialists to align training with operational and product requirements.
• Maintain practical learning resources, session plans and development tools using approved systems.
• Continuously improve training records, data reliability and overall staff capability.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering training programs in a seasonal or resort environment.
• Strong ability to work with senior leaders, managers and technical specialists.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple training calendars and pathways.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and data‑driven training outcomes.
