Sales Supervisor, PSS Products

About the role

Baxter is hiring a Sales Supervisor for its Patients Support Systems (PSS) division in Minato-ku, Tokyo. The role is responsible for delivering sales performance and revenue for PSS products across the territory, working closely with the PSS distributor sales team. The products cover intensive care, including advanced hospital beds, advanced stretchers and disposable blood pressure cuffs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver sales revenue and profitability targets for the PSS business in the territory.
• Partner with the distributor manager and marketing manager to develop and execute PSS business strategies and plans, and create territory-specific strategies and action plans.
• Drive sales initiatives for core products and promote value-based selling across a multi-product portfolio.
• Build and strengthen relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and major customers with marketing.
• Collect market trends and competitor information and feed it into sales and pricing strategy.
• Use SFDC and similar CRM tools to manage accounts and forecast sales accurately.
• Provide weekly updates and monthly revenue projections to the PSS sales leader, negotiate pricing within defined schedules and guidelines, and resolve product performance and configuration issues.
• Ensure compliance with local requirements and specifications, and lead problem solving with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences or a related field.
• Solid years of sales experience, ideally in the healthcare or medical device industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Experience managing distributor relationships and building relationships with KOLs and key accounts.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CRM systems such as SFDC and data-driven sales reporting.
• Experience in hospital or medical institution sales.
