Seasonal Restaurant Manager – Hakuba

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant & Bar Manager to lead the fine‑dining restaurant Sève at Hotel La Neige in Hakuba for the winter season. The manager will own all aspects of the operation, ensuring high‑quality food, beverage and coffee service while delivering memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee food and beverage service, coordinate with kitchen staff and maintain presentation standards.
• Develop and manage the beverage and coffee programs, train staff on recipes and brewing methods.
• Handle inventory ordering, track supplies and control costs.
• Create staff schedules, supervise front‑of‑house team and ensure payroll accuracy.
• Manage cash transactions, registers and financial reporting.
• Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards throughout the venue.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a restaurant manager.
• Legal right to live and work in Japan (visa support available).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand long periods and lift heavy items.
• Fluency in English and Japanese.
• Valid driving licence and International Driving Permit.
• Commitment to the contract period ending 31 March 2027.
