Senior Business Consultant – R&D Consulting (Japan)

About the role

As a Senior Business Consultant in Veeva's R&D Business Consulting practice, you will help life‑sciences customers bring treatments to patients faster by transforming their technology, data, and AI‑enabled operating models. The role focuses on reshaping operating models, driving organizational change, and measuring tangible business value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead small‑scale projects, managing end‑to‑end design and delivery of high‑quality solutions.
• Manage project teams of 2–3 consultants, developing people‑leadership skills.
• Drive practice growth through proposal development and identifying new opportunities.
• Solve complex challenges for life‑sciences leaders using Veeva’s data, software, and AI insights.
• Support multiple R&D projects while developing deep expertise in 1–2 functional areas.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Life Sciences consulting (business or management consulting preferred).
• Proven expertise in Safety, Clinical Operations, or Regulatory domains.
• Strong analytical mindset for both quantitative and qualitative reasoning.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex ideas to senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Veeva products.
• Experience delivering SaaS or tech‑enabled consulting solutions.
