Senior Customer Success Manager – APAC

About the role

Qumulo is looking for a senior‑level Customer Success Manager to own the full lifecycle of enterprise customers and OEM/Channel partners across the APAC region. You will ensure customers achieve measurable outcomes while building trusted, long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of enterprise and strategic accounts, driving onboarding, adoption, retention and renewals.
• Deliver value realization through quarterly business reviews, success plans and measurable outcome tracking.
• Act as the primary technical liaison, translating data‑storage and cloud architecture discussions into business value for C‑level stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Operations and Engineering to resolve escalations and influence product roadmap.
• Enable OEM and Channel partners, leading joint success initiatives and partner‑led growth.
• Gather customer insights, provide product feedback and communicate updates to customers.

Required profile

• Fluent in Japanese and English (written and verbal).
• 5+ years in Customer Success, Account Management or Partner Success within data storage, data management or cloud environments.
• Proven ability to manage up to 50 enterprise accounts and OEM/Channel partners.
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics (NRR, churn, adoption, GRR) and data‑driven insight generation.
• Based in Japan (Tokyo metropolitan area preferred) with legal work authorization, no visa sponsorship required.

Required skills

• Deep technical knowledge of data storage, enterprise storage and multi‑cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with CS/CRM platforms such as Planhat and Gainsight.

• Annual base salary of JPY 11,950,000 paid monthly.
