Senior Finance Manager / Finance Manager, Japan

About the role

The Senior/Finance Manager for Japan will support financial strategy, optimise revenue opportunities and provide insights that drive informed local business decisions. Reporting to the Regional Finance Director APAC and the VP of North Asia, the role works closely with business leaders, client‑servicing teams and finance counterparts.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business, finance and operations leaders to deliver financial insights that shape strategic decisions and pricing strategies for the Japan market.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate information for business leaders.
• Manage net working capital, cash‑flow efficiency and financial compliance across Japan operations.
• Identify and implement process improvements, streamline financial workflows and support ERP system implementations or finance transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of finance experience, including FP&A or commercial finance, with a proven track record of leading ERP implementations or finance transformation projects.
• Fluent in Japanese and English with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset capable of translating data into actionable business insights.
• Proactive, adaptable and able to collaborate across local and regional finance teams.
